The Department of Intelligent Vehicles and Transportation Informatics focus on integrating artificial intelligence, big data, internet of things (IoT), and control engineering with transportation engineering, aiming to solve key technical challenges in autonomous driving, multi-modal transportation coordination, traffic safety management, and smart infrastructure construction. Currently, the department has 27 teachers, including 3 national talents and 3 national young talents. The department implements professional cultivating modes which focus on academic foundations, and teach students in the directions of “Intelligent Driving”, “Application Technology of Multi-domain Intelligent Vehicles” and “Traffic Spatiotemporal Information Modeling and Computing”.


Through close cooperation with industry partners, research institutions, and government agencies, our department dedicated to translate academic achievements into practical applications, contributing to the development of safe, efficient, green, and intelligent transportation ecosystems. The department is committed to nurturing professionals with solid technical foundations, cross-disciplinary thinking, and global perspectives, who will lead the transformation of the transportation industry in the era of intelligence and digitization.
